Laying Instruction for Pavers
- Prepare a solid base, removing black soil or fill it with hard murum with heavy compaction / rolling. If black soil is at greater extent soiling is advisable.
- As you arc aware, paver does not require PCC/Cement but paver are to be fitted in photo Frame
- For example end must be covered with brick wall / curbing / other stone or you can fix last four paver lines of each side in cement.
- Set the perfect dead level or give slope as specified by an architect I contractor.
- Consider the margin as follows while maintaining the actual floor lever; 60 MM Paver thickness + 40MM stone dust = 100 MM.
- Spread stone dust / sand at least 1 .5" thick in proper level with leveling instrument.
- Interlock the payers as per the design & fill the joints with pure sand.
- The pieces must he cut with marble / granite hand cutting - machine for perfect fitting and clear edges.
- Do not use the area laid for 24 hours.
- Final work of the site for e.g. painting, polishing, carpentry, plumbing, grill / gate fixing or any other cementing work must be completed in all respect before laying payers.
